There are certain requirements you must meet before becoming eligible for certification as entry-level security professional. The first requirement is holding an active Networking or Security+ Certification. The second requirement is an undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or any other related field. An aspirant should have 5 years of paid work experience in IT (3 years must be in information security and 1 year must be in one of six (ISC)² CCSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) domains)
