Job Description:
- Will this role be onsite, remote, or hybrid? Hybrid, Mon, Wed, Thurs and WFH Tues/Fri
- What is the expected contract duration? This will be 12 month contract to start, with potential to extend beyond 12 months, to around 15 months total.
- There is also potential for conversion based on performance, budget, and business need.
- Will overtime be expected for this role? Yes, potential overtime might be required.
- Will business travel be required? No travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and analyze standard costs, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing assumptions.
- Perform inventory valuation, cost variance analysis, and investigate anomalies.
- Support ERP implementation through data preparation, validation, testing, and documentation.
- Backfill SME tasks including standard cost updates, OCOGS reporting, and inventory reconciliations.
- Assist with journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations during month‑end close.
- Ad hoc assignments and tasks as necessary.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
- ERP experience related to product costing (Oracle & SAP).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 3-5 years of cost accounting or manufacturing accounting experience.
- ERP experience (Oracle & SAP).
