Job Description:
- This position is responsible for planning, organizing, performing, and reporting of analytical laboratory duties under supervision of the laboratory manager.
- Adhere to all facility policies concerning safety, security, Good Laboratory and Good Manufacturing Practices (GLP & GMP).
- Keep a clean and organized office and laboratory space.
- Maintain laboratory consumable inventories and supplies to support laboratory operations.
- Document operation and verification of laboratory equipment performance according to laboratory control plans.
- Develop and execute action plans in support of laboratory continuous improvement routines.
- Organize schedule of routine stability sample analysis.
- Process incoming stability samples according to analysis requests.
- Plan, execute, and report sample analyses in accordance with assigned due dates and laboratory performance metrics.
- Request, ship, and report sample analyses within network of 3rd party laboratories according to analysis requests.
- Support laboratory scientist with completion of project objectives.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree in closely related science preferred (i.e. Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, et al.)
- Relevant academic coursework or 1-year practical relevant experience in an analytical laboratory preferred.
- Demonstrated computer or digital skills (i.e Microsoft office, LIMS, and SAP).
- Emerging level initiative, results focus and follow through.
- Contributes to a team environment and builds effective relationships.
- Speaks up and gives productive feedback.
