Title: Business Analyst with Cyber Security/Vulnerability
Location: Irving, TX 
Duration: 12 Months Contract


Manager Notes:

  • Work with vulnerabilities
  • Manage multiple teams at the same time
  • Will not build the reports themselves
  • Don't need to have a bunch of scripting languages experience
  • Must have SQL
  • Should have used Jira
  • Irving, TX is the preferred location over Tampa, FL (second Preference)
  • Banking is highly preferred, but not needed
  • Someone from a cyber security background would be preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with partners to drive the completion of critical development activities
  • Lead regular forums with development teams to break down business requirements into development activities
  • Analyze requirements to develop and manage program metrics and reporting
  • Author business requirement documents and user stories for developer backlogs
  • Prioritize work efforts based on business and management-driven needs
  • Implement identified process improvements.
  • Work with partnering organizations to automate manual metrics and reporting.
  • Support the GEM Operations Lead with ad-hoc requests

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in vulnerability management or business analyst
  • Understands Agile methodology
  • Experienced in taking business requirements and translating them into clear user stories
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Familiarity with:

  1. JIRA
  2. Sprint grooming
  3. SDLC best practices
  4. UAT Testing
  5. Cyber Security principles
  6. Reporting applications
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive mindset with the ability to think “outside of the box” to solve problems.
  • Experience solving complex data flow challenges.
  • Advanced knowledge of complex queries for data analysis.
  • Experience with at least one coding language (PowerShell, Python, C#, etc.).
  • Experience in automation and optimization of repetitive processes and reporting.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
