Title: Creative Administration (Music Publishing) - Consulting Position 
Location:  New York, NY
Duration: 6 months+ potential extensions
Worksite Location:  Hybrid - Remote and 2-3 days onsite

Job Description:

  • Song deliveries. Send confirmed writer splits with corresponding release information to be properly registered in the UMPG system, societies, etc.
  • Maintain writer MDRC sheets; adding newly delivered songs, helping to keep the sheet “live” with new & pending releases.
  • Track the following: disputes, provisional claims, long time pending works, new releases, new signings
  • Billboard: weekly report stating what we control of new releases, weekly publishing edits


  • Past publishing internships or work history required
  • Basic publishing knowledge; copyright, writer splits
  • Familiar with various Music Publishing organizations such as the PROs, MLC, and HFA and their function within our business
  • MUST be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong ability to keep track of a high volume of data/information
  • Ability to prioritize and grasp new concepts quickly
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter


  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
