Job Description
Work Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- Morning shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Overtime: Very likely (1–2 hours/day as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support wafer calibration process for sensor/semiconductor products
- Inspect wafers (visual inspection; microscope experience is a plus, not required)
- Set up wafers/products into fixtures and calibration equipment
- Load/run equipment, collect calibration data
- Perform basic data analysis and document/report results
- Use computer tools daily (Excel, email)
Required / Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Basic computer literacy
- Excel
- Email / Windows environment
- Ability to clearly communicate in English
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment
- Manufacturing experience with electronics preferred
Nice-to-Have / Plus Skills:
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience
- Wafer inspection or calibration background
- PCB assembly experience
- Light soldering experience (simple wire soldering only)
- Use of inspection tools (microscope, basic electronic tools like volt meters)
- Note: Most technical aspects are trainable; prior direct calibration experience is not mandatory.
Education:
- Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred
- High school diploma acceptable with 3–5+ years of relevant manufacturing/electronics experience
- Candidates with engineering degrees are acceptable but may not align with pay expectations
Experience Range:
Open to:
- Entry-level: 2+ years manufacturing
- Mid/Senior: 15–20+ years experience
- As long as experience is in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing
Interview Process:
- Two interviews
- First: Technical + hands-on validation of claimed skills
- Second: Final interview with hiring manager’s manager
