On-Site role

Job Description:

  • This position will be responsible for managing telecommunications inventory for the Technology Organization (TO), system-wide. 
  • Provide the appropriate replenishment analysis at approximately 25 stocking locations in multiple states across the client territory, ensuring the appropriate supply of inventory is on hand for capital projects and for the emergency restoration of the TO infrastructure.
  • Coordinate and provide oversight of all materials management and logistics to include procurement, shipping, receiving, stocking, and tracking of inventory assets at the TO Materials Distribution Center (TOMDC) located in Forest Park, GA. 
  • Ensure proper compliance and documentation as it relates to inventory management in accordance with SCS and SCM policies and procedures. 
  • Generate monthly reports in support of company accounting requirements.
  • Interact with internal and external partners/customers, outside suppliers, vendors, and repair facilities to oversee the accuracy of purchasing, pricing, delivery, and service requests for inventory/equipment. 
  • Coordinate the Return Authorization process for telecommunications equipment to be repaired or replaced. 
  • Provide analysis that tracks the failure rate of critical telecommunications equipment during a defined period. 
  • Provide the appropriate analysis of when parts are replaced under warranty or repaired versus the purchase of new equipment. 
  • Coordinate with TO on new and changing product lines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:

  • Some college or technical school degree preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five years Supply Chain Management knowledge/experience.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience with the TO business or associated materials/equipment preferred.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift or other warehouse equipment highly preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Considerable knowledge of Supply Chain Management internal controls and processes, including the client Contract Guidance Manual, anti-trust, and other laws and regulations to ensure SCM compliance.
  • Ability to assess requests and situations, gather and analyze pertinent data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
  • Ability to work independently with very limited direct supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inventory management including inventory analysis, processing material requests, transfers, issues, returns, and purchase order transactions using MAXIMO.
  • Invoice Reconciler for all SCM Johnson Rd Telecom invoices.
  • Participation in After Hours On-Call rotation for the TO Warehouse.
