Title: Plant Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Beasley, TX
Duration: Full-Time


Job Overview:

  • The primary objective is maximum machinery up-time.
  • The maintenance Manager will direct all of the activities of the maintenance department, ensuring appropriate parts inventory and adequate training of all Maintenance associates.
  • Preventative and Predictive maintenance programs will be utilized to minimize downtime.
  • Maintenance Manager will be charged with budgets and the timing of repairs. 
  • The maintenance Manager will be responsible for all grounds and facility maintenance.

Physical Requirments:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands; and reach with hands and arms.


What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will be:

  • Accomplishes maintenance human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures
  • Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments; identifying problems and requirements
  • Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts
  • Improves function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications
  • Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Schedule, train, supervise, and motivate employees for the maintenance department
  • Coordinate work performed by outside vendors
  • Ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates
  • Control and monitor inventory
  • Prioritize the maintenance and repairs of company equipment and parts

Your Education Should Be:

  • 10 years experience as a maintenance manager
