Title: Procurement Administrator
Location:  Springdale, AR
Duration: 3 Months  

Job Description:

  • This position is currently listed as 3 months but may be extended based on performance.
  • This position will be responsible for daily activity related to the reconciliation of various corporate cards used by the travel department.
  • This process requires the use of Excel to include pivot tables, v-look-ups, etc.
  • Additional activity includes using the Concur expense tool, the system of record for these transactions.  Ability to contact vendors to request receipts received in the Outlook mail system.
  • This position is responsible for managing the administrative and transactional functions of the indirect purchasing team.  
  • This includes creating a purchase order and managing inquiries through the Procurement Ops shared folder.  
  • This role will be responsible for influencing Purchase-to-pay best practices, Client policy adherence, and Program Compliance at Client locations.
  • Other responsibilities include generating report data for monitoring KPIs; communicating with plants regarding issue resolution and process best practices; communicating with suppliers regarding resolving errors related to pricing, invoicing, and ordering; answering phones and emails within 24 hours; and covering for other support staff as needed.

Requirement: 
Education:

  • Education beyond high school, including less than two years of special training, vocational school, and college courses, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Experience: 

  • 5 plus years’ experience; related to purchasing, accounts payable, supplier management, or operations.

Computer Skills: 

  • Proficient computer skills; SAP experience preferred; Microsoft Office applications proficiency required.

Communication Skills: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The individual must be able to communicate with all levels within the organization.

Special Skills: 

  • Good Judgement, ability to interpret policies and procedures, analyze and solve complex problems; ability to multi-task, handle heavy workloads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
