Hybrid role - 2 days Onsite and 3 days Remote

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of executing milestones and budgets on one or more projects.
• Assess creation of project plan, charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
• Work with the Project Sponsor to ensure the business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives and confirm project plans meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents.
• Ensure all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand the project schedule and key milestones..
• Escalate project risks to the Project Director or Project Sponsor when appropriate.
• Ensure vendor performance is monitored and actions taken if performance warrants.
• Provides sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Directly affects the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Client, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Knowledge/Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager
• Project Management experience or certification is ideal
• Good working knowledge of MS applications, especially Excel
• Fund Accounting experience is helpful
• Experience working with asset management clients on a variety of investment fund vehicles
• Sound understanding of financial markets
• Experience of working in Project teams is desirable
• Knowledge of MS Visio, PowerBI, and SQL is a definite asset

• Good working knowledge of MS applications
