Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite and 1 day Remote

Job Description:

  • ***We are seeking local candidates for this role. M-Th onsite; Fridays remote.
  • The Project Manager will be assigned to work on Next Generation Formula Optimization (Aramis) Project for the Client North America IT Development for Client team.
  • The primary role is to coordinate the day-to-day activities of the team responsible for project deliverables including collaboration on the project’s performance (scope, time, quality, cost, risk, benefits) with focus on resource planning, scheduling, tracking of metrics / KPIs, status reporting and communication.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create & maintain project plan including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, reporting processes, and assigning tasks to resources. 
  • Keeping the project aligned to goals and proactively escalate issues to stay on time and schedule.
  • Apply project management methodologies and best practices to deliver a world-wide deployment schedule for implementation across factory & HQ locations.
  • Provide input to manage and control project budget including tracking cost projections vs. actual costs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create reports highlighting the KPIs that are below targets. 
  • Also, coordinate root cause analysis when targets are not met and support the implementation of solutions.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure accurate tracking of all issues, risks, concerns with communication of status to management, stakeholders, business partners and other departments in a timely manner
  • Facilitate the testing and deployment of software releases delivered by 3rd party vendor.
  • Ensure compliance to all client standards, methods, processes, and tools

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or business management required
  • 3+ years of experience in a project manager / coordinator role for a large project
  • 3+ years of experience with either traditional Waterfall SDLC or Agile / Lean methodologies
  • 1+ years of experience planning and coordinating a training schedule
  • 1+ years of experience planning and coordinating a testing schedule

Skills:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to efficiently manage projects and teams.
  • Ability to manage project schedule including the tracking budget and cost and vendor management.
  • Ability in facilitating technical discussions and conflict resolution in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to deliver projects that meet stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Strong ability in using Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and tasks under time constraints
  • Ability to clearly communicate both orally and in writing
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
