Job Description:
  • Work Location: Bridgewater, NJ / HYBRID
  • Work Schedule: FT / M-F 8am - 5pm
Position Summary:
  • Guardian of Quality and Compliance by Design following the quality requirements and deliverables for Idea to Launch (I2L) and Client Management System for Client Development Center Bridgewater led Innovation/Renovation projects. It will be the quality representative for CAT 1, 2 and 3 projects, as assigned, and responsible for the creation pHACCP and rMMS (Quality monitoring piece) for new products/technology development in order to ensure full compliance to Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory requirements.
  • Additional responsibilities are to support the Client Management System by being part of the Internal Audit Team and other initiatives.
  • Project team member engaged in NDC Innovation / Renovation projects assuring Quality function I2L deliverables throughout project stages.
  • Perform Food Safety Assessments and develops pHACCP and rMMS new product/technology projects, including support to factories for implementation
  • Ensures Quality and Food Safety technical knowledge transfer to operations through engagement, training and handover of projects.
  • Provides training to all functions which need to have an insight into quality and safety, and which need to implement quality and safety in their own job deliverables.
  • Ensures full compliance to Client Standards and Regulatory requirements.
  • Promote compliance with the Client Management System requirements and other applicable Standards.
  • Member of the Internal Audit Team, responsible for auditing processes and areas according to the Internal Audit Plan.
  • Support visits from regulatory bodies, such as FDA or USDA, and external certification bodies.
  • Support preparation efforts to obtain ISO and NMS certifications.
Technical Assistance:
  • Provides assistance to Quality functions in factories and Application Groups.
Academic Experience:
  • Bacharel (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemistry Engineer, Food Science or equivalent)
Operational Experience:
  • Experience in food industry in quality, R&D or manufacturing areas.

Demonstrated Competence in their field to support business requirements:

  • Team member in the quality department of a factory, PTC/R&D, Centre, NR, NQACs.
  • HACCP team member.
  • ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 certification is preferred.
  • Ingredient specifications.
  • Experience with quality by design.
Business Experience:
  • Leading part of a change effort.
  • Participating in audit teams and/or improvement projects.
  • Establishing networks of peers, in markets or factories.
