Required Skills
- Create, edit, and validate Reliability Block Models (RBMs) for complex equipment using ReliaSoft applications, including:
- Weibull++
- BlockSim
- XfRACAS
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze product and system reliability to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques from a reliability perspective.
- Partner with Design Engineering teams on the selection, application, and testing of electronic components and systems.
- Recommend design methodologies, testing strategies, and statistical process control procedures to achieve reliability objectives.
- Define reliability requirements for components and systems to meet company, customer, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and apply accelerated testing techniques and analytical tools to identify potential reliability issues early in the product lifecycle.
- Investigate product, packaging, and process reliability concerns and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide recommendations for improvements in component selection, system design, and manufacturing processes to enhance product reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through reliability analysis, failure investigations, and data-driven recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in reliability engineering, product reliability analysis, or failure analysis.
- Strong understanding of reliability modeling, statistical analysis, and reliability testing methodologies.
- Experience working with electronic components, systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of reliability standards and best practices within regulated or high-reliability industries.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
