Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute WD's global sales and marketing event calendar, including customer-facing events, partner summits, sales kickoffs, trade shows, product launches, field marketing activations, and executive briefings across key markets worldwide.
- Bring a strong creative vision to every event - developing original concepts, themes, and programming that reflect WD’s brand identity and leave a lasting impression on attendees, regardless of budget size.
Support company-wide events including employee engagement activities, cultural celebrations, all-hands gatherings, and leadership forums as needed.
Build scalable processes, event toolkits, and communication plans that ensure consistent quality and brand representation across all geographies and time zones. - Demonstrate a resourceful, value-maximizing approach to event design: identifying creative solutions, unconventional venues, and strategic vendor partnerships that deliver premium experiences without premium price tags.
- Prioritize spend on high-impact, visible elements while finding efficiencies elsewhere to consistently over-deliver against stakeholder expectations.

- Develop and manage event budgets, policies, and guidelines to ensure equity, consistency, and measurable ROI across all WD sales and marketing events worldwide.
- Collaborate with sales leaders, regional marketing managers, product marketing teams, cross-functional teams, and executive administrative staff to align events with WD's go-to-market strategy, culture, and values.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee end-to-end logistics to deliver impactful, memorable, and cost-effective events at scale across multiple international markets and regions (Americas, Europe, Middle East, India, Asia-Pacific, Japan, and China).
- Navigate international event logistics including local regulatory requirements, cultural considerations, multi-currency budgeting, and cross-border vendor coordination.
Duties:
- Deep expertise in sales and marketing event strategy, including event ROI measurement, lead capture integration, and alignment with pipeline and revenue objectives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects and competing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, global environment.
Executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface confidently with Sales, Marketing, and C-Suite stakeholders.
Exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and a genuine service-first mindset.
Strong budget management and financial acumen, with experience tracking and reporting event and travel spend across multiple currencies and geographies. - Hands-on experience navigating international event logistics, including local regulatory requirements, cultural considerations, multi-currency budgeting, and cross-border vendor coordination.
- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills with demonstrated cost savings, including experience managing trade show exhibit houses, AV/production vendors, and experiential agencies.
Attributes: Professional presence, cultural sensitivity, flexibility across time zones, and the ability to perform with poise under pressure in a high-stakes, customer-facing environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or equivalent experience.
