Title: Spare Parts Inventory Planner
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Duration: 6 months


Job Description:

  • The service parts planner is responsible for ensuring that an adequate supply of service parts is available to meet the demands of maintenance, repair, and service activities.
  • This role involves managing inventory levels, forecasting service part demand, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely availability of service parts. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to understand part requirements and ensure service parts availability
  • Forecast demand for service parts for Client testing vehicles at each service center to ensure adequate stock levels are available for testing vehicles’ regular maintenance and repair needs 
  • Monitor inventory and optimize stock levels at service centers and implement strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize excess inventory, and prevent stockouts
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to streamline replenishment and distribution processes
  • Coordinate with maintenance and repair teams, internal planners, and engineers to ensure rapid response and resolution for down vehicles, communicate with cross-functional teams to provide status updates and estimated delivery dates 
  • Develop contingency plans and maintain critical spare parts inventory to minimize vehicle downtime
  • Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, demand patterns, and other key metrics
  • Provide regular updates to management on inventory status and potential issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Logistics or Supply Chain Management focus preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, or a similar role
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using inventory management software and tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities

Bonus Qualifications:

  • SAP S/4HANA Experience
  • Demand Planning Experience
  • Service parts planning and management experience
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
