On-Site role

Job Description:
  • This assignment will be a 6 months from when the worker starts on the contract.
  • Extend or convert to FTE? Not at this time.
  • Business Travel: No Remote, Hybrid, or Remote: Hybrid schedule Work Week Hour: Standard 40 hour work week, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
  • Overtime: Potential for OT but not promised College Degree: a college degree is required for the role, BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field.
  • Expected Level of relevant experience: 1-3 years.
Duties:
  • Execute and manage nightly and weekly testing efforts on Flash/SSD products.
  • Conduct first level triage and analysis of failures encountered during testing and work with key stakeholders to drive to resolution.
  • Have a high-level understanding of the different facets Flash/SSD devices and testing methodologies to act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the validation group.
  • Prepare nightly and weekly reports for validation/product teams to present project status and progress.
  • Review and analyze NVMe SSD validation requirements from customer/architecture specs and influence product design for test and debug.
  • Research and implement innovative ways to test/validate NVMe SSD’s.
  • Work with FW and Test Development teams to design tailormade tests for reproduction and investigation of customer reported issues.
  • Coordinate with internal tools team to identify and define new features needed to improve the coverage and capacity of inhouse tools.
  • Design and implement test infrastructure enhancements to ensure proper and efficient validation of Flash/SSD products.
Skills:
  • Experience in analog and/or digital electronics, C/C++, Python, Linux/Windows operating systems. - Required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Required
  • Interest in SSD, flash, semiconductor, components, and nonvolatile memory industry - Nice to have
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Windows and Linux server storage environments. - Required
  • Years of experience: 1-3 years (Level 1)
Education:
  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field required.
