The Platform Solution Management team at Parametric is responsible for defining and enabling cross-platform business solutions that meet the needs of clients over time. Solutions may include products, services, or systems that provide value to both internal and external stakeholders across the enterprise.

Sitting at the intersection of business, clients, and technology, the team collaborates across multiple functions to understand solution context and define the solution vision, roadmap, intent, and capabilities. The team also manages changes to the solution vision and roadmap based on enterprise objectives and strategic priorities.

 
About the Role
The Technical Project Manager is a project management expert with overall accountability for the technical project delivery roadmap and product success. This individual will work closely with engineering teams, business leaders, and key stakeholders to establish a vision, define priorities, execute strategic initiatives, and drive product evolution and measurable outcomes.

The Technical Project Manager will regularly interact and present information throughout the organization, partnering with both technology and business stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead and manage large, complex enterprise-level projects.
Define, shape, and drive product and technology roadmaps to create clarity, guide planning, and ensure successful execution.
Meet business objectives by successfully designing, implementing, and guiding programs through completion.
Develop fast and effective solutions when issues arise.
Document all aspects of work and present progress updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Manage relationships effectively across all organizational levels.
Develop comprehensive program plans including goals, scope, schedules, and resource allocation.
Align program objectives with company strategic goals and organizational priorities.
Establish project tasks, timelines, and milestones.
Assign responsibilities to team members and track accountability.
Monitor project progress and provide updates as needed.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and external partners to ensure program objectives and deliverables are achieved.
Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues impacting program delivery, timelines, and budgets.
Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues throughout the lifecycle.
Identify opportunities for improvement in project management practices and processes.
Engage with program owners, stakeholders, and business partners to communicate project objectives, strategy, tactics, and ongoing progress.
Drive alignment and build trust among stakeholders.
Facilitate communication and processes between IT and business teams to establish software engineering priorities, work direction, and best practices.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to support project delivery.
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple teams with competing priorities while maintaining strong business relationships.
Balance member, business, and technical goals with available resources, including effective resource allocation and prioritization.
 
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience leading complex development and integration projects, strategy initiatives, business analysis, or systems analysis, preferably within the finance or asset management industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both business and technology stakeholders.
Strong discussion, debate, listening, and problem-solving abilities with the capability to assess broader impacts beyond obvious solutions.
Advanced experience working within Scaled Agile software development environments.
Demonstrated success leading teams and directing others to achieve measurable business results.
Ability to empathically understand and articulate user needs.
Demonstrated ability to define and communicate product or solution vision aligned with business objectives.
Advanced proficiency with workflow and data mapping tools including Miro/Lucid, Excel, SQL, and Visio.
Strong understanding of analysis methodologies and artifact management throughout the solution lifecycle.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt within changing environments and tight deadlines.
Ability to independently manage timelines and coordinate multiple concurrent project deliverables across teams.
