Test Engineering Technician I

On-Site role

Job Description:

• This will be a 6 month assignment from the workers start date with potential to extend or convert to FTE based on performance, budget, and ongoing business need for the role.
• This will be fully onsite Mon-Friday, 40 hours per week expected work schedule.
• There might be potential overtime but most likely it will just be 40 hours per week.
• No business travel required for this role.

Duties:

• Test Engineering Technician will be responsible for performing hands-on testing, debugging, and validation of electronic assemblies and subsystems in a lab environment.
• This role requires someone with at least 1-3 years of experience.
• The technician executes test plans, documents results, troubleshoots failures down to the component level, and collaborates closely with design and quality engineers to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• This so strongly preferred to have strong soldering skills (including fine-pitch rework), cable harnessing, and the ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts are essential.
• The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and brings a proactive, problem-solving mindset to ensure products meet rigorous performance and reliability standards.

Skills:

• This role requires proficiency in operating and maintaining a wide range of test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, power supplies, and signal generators to capture, analyze, and interpret electrical signals and performance data these equipment tools are requirements for this role.

Education:

• Minimum degree: AA degree.
