Job Description:

  • Fully remote.
  • The leased worker is expected to work 8-4pm or 9-5pm.

Required/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field required.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience creating, developing, and delivering effective training programs for employees required.
  • Relevant certifications in instructional design or training are highly preferred.
  • Experience in instructor led and eLearning development highly preferred.
  • A Training Developer/Instructor with 5 to 10 years of experience plays a key role in creating, developing, and delivering effective training programs for employees.
  • This position involves designing training materials, facilitating training sessions, and evaluating the success of training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create and develop training materials, including manuals, e-learning courses, videos, and presentations.
  • Curriculum Design: Develop and organize training curricula, ensuring content is structured logically and aligned with learning objectives.
  • Content Creation: Design engaging and interactive training materials that incorporate adult learning principles and various instructional methods.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions in-person, virtually, or through webinars, ensuring content is effectively delivered to participants.
  • Learning Management System (LMS): Utilize Learning Management Systems for course registration, tracking, and reporting.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs and adjust content as needed.
  • Adaptability: Update training materials and content to reflect changes in policies, procedures, technology, and industry standards.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from participants to make continuous improvements to training programs.
  • Customization: Tailor training content to meet the specific needs of different departments or job roles within the organization.
  • Compliance: Ensure that training programs comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and participant performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, managers, and other stakeholders to understand training needs and develop effective content.
  • Technological Proficiency: Stay current with training technology and tools to enhance training program quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or a related field. Relevant certifications in instructional design or training are a plus.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in training development and delivery, with a proven track record of creating and facilitating effective training programs.
  • Proficiency in using instructional design software and Learning Management Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and assessment techniques.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage and educate a diverse audience.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple training initiatives.
  • Analytical skills to assess training program effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and creativity in designing training content to meet evolving organizational needs.
  • A Training Developer/Instructor with 5 to 10 years of experience is instrumental in creating high-quality training programs that enable employees to develop the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
