Assistant Quality Technician

On-Site role

Job Description:

• THESE POSITIONS WILL SIT ONSITE AT OUR FACTORY IN MECHANICSBURG, PA.
• 2 positions available:
• 2nd shift: Sat & Sun 12pm -12am, Mon & Tues 4pm-12am (this position will end 4/24/27)
• 3rd shift: Sat & Sun 12am -12pm, Thur & Fri 12am -8am (this position will end 12/26/26)

Description:
Position Summary:

• As an Assistant Quality Technician, you will be responsible for assisting Quality Technicians with finished product and ingredient testing.
• You will regularly interact with Production, Maintenance, and Product Safety.
• You will have the opportunity to cross-train and gain experience in multiple areas across QA to strengthen your skillset.

Job Duties:

• Assist with analyzing of finished product using various test methods, including wet chemistry.
• Perform sensory evaluations of in-process and finished product.
• Review food safety, regulatory, and quality test results prior to releasing finished goods for shipment.
• Assist with Microbiological sampling, sample preparation and testing, as needed.
• Maintain high sanitation levels in the QA lab.
• Assist with sampling and testing of incoming ingredients that include, but are not limited to physical testing and testing rail cars, trucks, bins, sacks, and totes.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

Other:

• 1+ years of experience in quality, food manufacturing, lab or related environment preferred.
• PPE: must bring own Steel Toes, rest of PPE provided.
