ERP Finance Business Analyst (SAP S/4 HANA)

Job Description:

• This position could work some evening hours to support APAC time zone.
• Candidate must be able to have schedule flexibility.
• Some remote hours are expected - Hybrid in office and home.
• This will be an 11-month temporary assignment with a fixed end date of 8/31/27, but this can change depending on project time line and ongoing needs.
• This role is project based so flexibility in hours is a must, if the candidate is looking for a regular 9-5pm type of arrangement, this would not be a good fit.
• Preference would be local on the hybrid schedule but open to remote as long as the worker is the right fit.

Duties:    

• We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accounts Payable Transformation Lead to support strategic finance transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA implementations, system conversions, and payment process optimization programs. 
• Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounts Payable Transformation, this role will support the implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization of payment processes, banking integrations, and Accounts Payable capabilities within SAP S/4HANA. 

Key Responsibilities:
Host-to-Host Banking, Treasury & Payment Integration:

• Serve as a key resource supporting Host-to-Host banking integrations, electronic payment processing, and payment-related transformation initiatives.
• Partner closely with Treasury, IT, implementation teams, and external banking partners to support payment file design, testing, implementation, and issue resolution.
• Support ACH, wire, SEPA, NEFT , BACS and other electronic payment processes across domestic and international operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize payment workflows, banking interfaces, and end-to-end payment processing requirements.
• Assist with payment testing, and production readiness activities.
• Apply expertise in ISO 20022 payment formats and standards to support banking integrations, payment processing, and future-state Accounts Payable operations.
• Support compliance, operational excellence, internal controls, across payment and banking processes.

SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Transformation:

• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, conversion, migration, and deployment activities related to Accounts Payable, payment processing and banking integrations,
• Assist with Integration System Testing (IST), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business readiness activities.
• Partner with IT, Treasury, and implementation teams to ensure payment and banking requirements are met.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, defect resolution, and payment process testing during transformation initiatives.
• Assist with cutover planning and post-go-live stabilization activities related to payment and banking processes.

Change Management & User Adoption:

• Support organizational change management activities related to process and technology transformations.
• Promote user adoption and business readiness through effective engagement and support.
• Serve as a change champion by helping teams successfully transition to new processes and technologies.

Global Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Build strong relationships with Finance, Treasury, Procurement, IT, Shared Services, and business teams across multiple regions.
• Work effectively within a global environment, partnering with stakeholders across different time zones, cultures, and business functions.
• Communicate project updates, risks, issues, and recommendations clearly and professionally to management and project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external implementation partners, consultants, and banking institutions to support project objectives.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience with deep knowledge of end-to-end AP and payment processes.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, ERP migrations, system conversions, upgrades, or other large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of electronic payment processing and banking operations.
• Hands-on experience with Host-to-Host banking integrations and payment testing activities.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with Treasury, IT, business stakeholders, banking partners, and third-party vendors.
• Experience supporting change management and user adoption initiatives during process or technology transformations.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and organizational levels.
• Experience working successfully within a global business environment.
