Lab Technician IV

On-Site role

Job Description:

• This role will be a 12 month contract with potential to extend and/or possible conversion to FTE based on performance, budget, and ongoing business need.
• This role will be 100% onsite in San Jose, CA - Great Oaks. 
• Regular working week, Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week, 8 hours.
• There will be potential OT for this role. 
• There will not be any business travel for this role.

Duties:

• The ideal candidate will do the following as part of this team at client. 
• Support process development and wafer integration engineering team in executing experiments, logging data and troubleshooting processes.
• Adapt to changes on the fly and pursue alternate paths, when necessary, to achieve objectives.
• Operate metrology and inspection tools.
• Identify and drive resolution of problems that could impact output or quality.
• Monitor tool performance as needed and react to out-of-control situations.
• Willingness to learn, be flexible, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Work in Cleanroom and semi-cleanroom environments.

Skills:    

• Nice to have: Experience with metrology tools such as, but not limited to, AFM, MFM, Interferometer, SEM, and high magnification optical microscopy.
• Nice to have: Experience with semiconductor/IC manufacturing or magnetic read/write head slider fabrication is a significant plus.

Education:    

• High school diploma or equivalent.
