- The assembler is expected to work carefully with sensitive components, including cable harnesses, small, soldered parts, fibers, optical components, and mechanically aligned assemblies.
- The work requires the assembler to move independently from one task to the next while following documented instructions and meeting production priorities.
- Daily activities may include electronic assembly such as crimping, soldering, and cable installation, mechanical assembly using basic hand tools, optical alignment and calibration, installation of sub-assemblies into larger builds and final preparation of instruments or accessories for technical review, certification, packaging, and shipment.

- If an issue is found during assembly, the assembler is expected to perform basic troubleshooting, if not able to resolve, send a Production Tech Support request in Teams for assistance.
- Technicians will assist and have the Assembler create and submit the appropriate Non-Conformance (NC) form request and document the issue clearly and thoroughly.
- This may include identifying missing or incorrect materials, building discrepancies, fit or alignment concerns, electrical or mechanical issues, or documentation gaps that prevent the work from moving forward.
- The role also includes administrative and process-related responsibilities.
- Assemblers are expected to use computer system Click-Up to track work order progress.
- Because production priorities can change quickly based on customer needs, the assembler must be able to adapt and adjust, communicate effectively with technicians, manufacturing engineers, inventory control, and other team members, and maintain quality and accuracy while working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Overall, this position requires a combination of hands-on assembly skills, attention to detail, basic mechanical and electrical understanding, ability to follow and interpret documentation, and willingness to learn across multiple product types.
- The assembler is responsible for producing quality work, recognizing when technical support is needed, documenting issues appropriately, and helping ensure that Client-Filmetrics systems and assemblies are completed with the highest quality and prepared correctly for shipment to customers.
