Job Description:

• Vehicle Project Manager, Program Operations
• Location: 300 Lincoln Centre (fully onsite)
• As a Vehicle Project Manager, Program Operations, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and driving vehicle hardware projects in support of the Vehicle Program Management (VPM) team.
• This role goes beyond coordination: you will own project deliverables end to end, managing hardware systems activities across the full product life cycle and driving engineering changes from initiation through implementation.
• You will act as an operational and execution backbone of the VPM team, enabling leaders and stakeholders to focus on driving product and program outcomes while you own project planning, change management, risk tracking, and cross-functional alignment.
• You will partner closely with VPMs and cross-functional teams across hardware engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and executive functions.
• This is a high-visibility role that demands a strong engineering foundation, structured project management, proactive planning, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage vehicle hardware projects and deliverables through the full product life cycle, from concept and development through validation, production ramp, and end of life.
• Own project planning and execution: build and maintain schedules, track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks, and drive mitigation plans to closure.
• Lead change management activities for hardware systems: assess impact, coordinate cross-functional reviews, and drive engineering changes (ECR/ECO) through approval and implementation.
• Plan and facilitate program meetings, milestone checkpoints, and readiness assessments; drive decisions, capture action items, and follow through to closure.
• Serve as a central point of contact between engineering, operations, and program stakeholders, streamlining communication, surfacing escalations, and creating visibility across programs.
• Maintain program and change data integrity across Jira, Confluence, and PLM/change management tools, ensuring content meets expectations ahead of reviews and milestones.
• Provide leadership with clear program status through reports, metrics, and dashboards.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or blockers in current processes and develop solutions or workflows to address them, collaborating with Program Managers to optimize team cadence, structure, and governance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or a related engineering discipline) or equivalent engineering formation and background.
• 3+ years of project or program management experience with direct, hands-on experience in automotive hardware or hardware systems development.
• Demonstrated experience managing products through the hardware life cycle (concept, design, validation, production, end of life) and applying structured change management (ECR/ECO processes, PLM systems).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive follow-through in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and Slack; experience with PLM/change management systems is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and proactively seeking structure where needed.
• Detail-oriented with a strong bias for action and ownership.
• Familiarity with vehicle development milestones (prototype builds, DV/PV, SOP), hardware/software integration, and issue resolution is a strong plus.
