Job Description:

• Project Manager, Fleet Operations Program Management
• On-Site in Foster City (Hybrid)
• The Fleet Operations Program team is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of client's autonomous vehicle fleet as it scales.
• As client grows its service fleet, our team owns the processes, tools, and cross-functional coordination that keep operations running smoothly at scale.
• We value rigor, continuous improvement, and a bias toward clear documentation over tribal knowledge, if it isn't written down, it isn't done.
• In this role, you will have direct, visible impact on how client scales one of the most complex robotics operations in the world.
• You'll partner closely with Fleet Operations, engineering, and program leadership to turn operational lessons into lasting process improvements, and you'll own how we track and close out issues that affect fleet uptime.

Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain Fleet Operations process documentation, playbooks, workflows, and checklists, ensuring they stay accurate, versioned, and easy to find as procedures evolve.
• Manage the Operational Development Process (ODP) project end to end: triage incoming problem tickets, assign priority, track root cause analysis through to solution and implementation, and confirm issues are fully resolved before closure.
• Partner with client Responsible Individuals (ZRIs) and cross-functional stakeholders to drive root cause analysis and ensure documented solutions are adopted into day-to-day workflows.
• Build and maintain reporting and dashboards that give leadership visibility into ODP throughput, recurring issue trends, and program health.
• Support planning and execution of client's initiative to scale the service fleet, tracking cross-team milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Facilitate recurring triage sessions, program reviews, and stakeholder syncs, keeping action items visible and moving.
• Take on general program management responsibilities as needed from scheduling and status reporting to ad hoc process improvement projects across Fleet Operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in program or project management, ideally within fleet operations, automotive, robotics, or another fast-moving technical environment.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for managing workflows, tracking issues, and maintaining living documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to design, document, and continuously improve operational processes.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to align engineering, operations, and leadership stakeholders around a shared plan.
• Comfortable bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous, fast-changing programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting a fleet, manufacturing, or operations scaling program.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis methods (e.g., five whys, fishbone diagrams).
• Background in autonomous vehicle or robotics operations.
