Job Description:
- Work Location : hybrid / NYC must report into office 2x per week
- Work Schedule: FT Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm
- The Senior Freight Coordinator is responsible for coordinating outbound transportation operations, partnering with 3PLs, carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence and achievement of company objectives
- Primary responsibilities include managing daily transportation operations, reporting, cost control, and performance analysis while identifying trends, resolving operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Coordination:
- Monitor, track, and communicate the progress of shipments to ensure efficient and timely updates.
- Facilitate effective communication between various stakeholders, including DC/Logistics, BTQ/Retail Operations, B2B Team, and carriers.
- Arrange FTL/LTL, small parcel shipments and manage pick-up ETA, delivery updates, and POD requests.
- Manage FTL/LTL transportation execution for key customer (trade) accounts by overseeing routing confirmation, carrier coordination, pickup scheduling, exception resolution, ship-window compliance, transportation ticket management, and recovery of missed or delayed shipments.
- Arrange and process ad hoc international export shipments, including validating order, customs, and any regulatory compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers for timely and accurate information exchange.
- Serve as point of escalation and drive issue resolution for FTL/LTL and small parcel shipments (i.e. pickup miss, driver delay, late delivery, damages, reroutes).
- Identify the root cause when targets are not met and implement solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Manage our Boutique shipment network and ensure shipments are picked up and delivered on time.
- Support the 3PLs with Transportation related requests (pickup and delivery issues, network performance and alignment, general shipment inquiries).
- Contribute to Supply Chain projects and strategic initiatives by providing transportation expertise, analytical support, and operational guidance.
- Manage the freight carrier network.
- Must be able to draw conclusions and explain in detail network performance (identify trends, areas where we can increase/decrease volume, and maximize carrier performance).
- Identify, suggest, and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency in order to improve network performance, achieve operational goals, and customer satisfaction.
- Will require collaboration with 3PL, IS/IT teams, supply chain, retail, and sales.
- Ensure SOPs and billing requirements are being followed.
- File carrier claims.
Reporting / Communication:
- Lead daily meetings and reviews with relevant teams to ensure smooth operations and address any issues or concerns.
- Troubleshoot and communicate internally to Supply Chain, Retail, customer service, and externally to 3PL about planned and unplanned situations impacting operations.
- Create, maintain, and publish transportation reports, dashboards, and presentations that support performance monitoring, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze data using tools like Power BI and Excel to generate meaningful insights and reports.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data, including tracking information, costs, and in-transit updates.
- Download and manage carrier reports for analysis and record-keeping purposes.
- Responsible for reporting and presenting on different business unit's lane usage, performance, and costs.
- Reporting and presenting for Transportation Operational Review (Weekly/Monthly).
- Prepare reports, analysis, and dashboards for performance/business reviews with carriers (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly).
- Extract periodic and ad hoc reports from BI platforms.
- Update and maintain SOPs.
- Monitor performance metrics and analyze trends to address issues and make data-driven decisions.

- SC&P Team: Logistics Specialist, D&SP Planners, DS Coordinator, Trsp Specialist and Sr Coordinator Import/Export.
- Sales D2C, B2B, TQM, MKT.
External:
- 3PL Partners (Logistics & Distribution)
- Small Parcel and Freight carriers
Education:
- College Degree required; preferably in Supply Chain OR equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 1-2 years professional experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and dealing with 3rd Party Warehousing strongly preferred.
- 1-2 years working with freight (FTL/LTL) and small parcel carriers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, business intelligence tools required.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Proficient in ERP, OMS and TMS systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills; highly detail oriented.
- Strong communication skills.
- Power BI experience will be highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of Distribution/Transportation Operations.
