Job Title: Store Associate

Position Type: Temporary
Schedule: Approximately 25 hours per week

Job Summary:

  • The Store Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while supporting daily retail store operations.
  • This role requires strong customer service and sales skills, product knowledge, and the ability to assist customers with their purchases.
  • Responsibilities include customer service, point-of-sale transactions, merchandising, inventory maintenance, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • The position reports directly to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product selection.
  • Process customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Load customer purchases safely and accurately.
  • Merchandise products and maintain store presentation standards.
  • Perform accurate inventory management and stock merchandise.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
  • Process cash-out procedures when required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently bend, climb, squat, kneel, reach, and lift heavy objects.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Job Summary:

  • The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and product knowledge.
  • This role includes unloading trailers, receiving and organizing inventory, building orders, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.
  • The position reports directly to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload bagged feed and related products for commercial and retail customers.
  • Safely operate hand trucks and forklifts.
  • Receive, load, and rotate inventory accurately.
  • Maintain warehouse and loading areas in a clean and organized condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report safety concerns.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Store Management.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
  • Demonstrated reliable work history.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn warehouse operations and product knowledge.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
