Application Developer – Asset Management & Power Delivery

Hybrid role

Job Description:

• Minimum of three years of professional programming or software development experience. 
• Experience with database development, including SQL, data modeling, schema design, or comparable database development activities. 
• Experience with C#, Python, or a comparable object- oriented programming language. 
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, consuming, or supporting REST and/or SOAP API integrations. 
• Understanding of software development methodologies and the software development life cycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. 
• Experience developing or supporting enterprise business applications in a production environment. 
• Strong analytical, programmatic problem-solving, and software troubleshooting skills. 
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders and technology professionals. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience. Work Environment 
• Hybrid work schedule with a combination of remote work and onsite collaboration in Birmingham, Alabama. 
• Occasional onsite meetings, project workshops, testing activities, and operational.
