Job Description:
- This assignment will be 6 months from the workers official start date. There's potential for this to extend and/or convert, based on performance, budget, and ongoing business need.
- This role will be hybrid schedule; 3 days onsite and 2 WFH.
- Regular working hours, 40-hour work week. No business travel is expected for this role.
- We are looking for someone who can successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, develop clear and effective communications, and quickly navigate internal platforms such as SharePoint, as they will be expected to hit the ground running.
- A technical background is highly preferred, as this role will support cybersecurity initiatives.
- The ideal candidate should be able to take complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, easy-to-understand messaging for a broader audience.
- Experience or interest in AI is a plus, though not a requirement.
- Candidates with approximately 5 to 7 years of experience are likely to be the best fit, as the scope and level of the role may not provide enough challenge for more senior professionals.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, though equivalent relevant work experience will also be considered.
- Global Operations Communications is seeking a six-month contractor to provide hands-on execution support across internal communications, digital channels, content development, channel administration, reporting, and communications workflows.
- The contractor will independently execute assigned work within established communications strategies, standards, governance practices, and priorities.
- This role is ideal for a strong communications professional who can move comfortably between writing and content development, digital channel support, project coordination, and communications operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Communications execution
- Draft, edit, format, and prepare communications for email, SharePoint, Teams chatbot, newsletters, digital signage, presentations, leadership cascades, and campaigns
- Develop complete communications packages from approved briefs and source material
- Coordinate inputs, reviews, approvals, publishing readiness, and follow-up for assigned initiatives
- Support priority executive, culture, employee engagement, and change communications deliverables
- Visual and multimedia production
- Create presentation-ready visual assets, graphics, motion elements, and branded materials
- Build and maintain reusable video, campaign, executive communications, and storytelling templates
- Support basic video editing, captions, thumbnails, and production coordination
- Governance and digital channel administration
- Apply established Pixel and channel governance standards
- Maintain ownership inventories, content review schedules, audit findings, remediation trackers, and follow-up
- Support page organization, content cleanup, publishing quality checks, and lifecycle routines
- Document recurring governance procedures and maintain usable handoff materials
- Analytics and reporting support
- Gather and validate available channel and campaign data
- Maintain reporting inputs, scorecards, and recurring reports using established framework
- Surface observations, trends, anomalies, and follow-up questions to support leadership interpretation and recommendations
- Document data sources, definitions, refresh steps, and reporting procedures
- Workflow and AI support
- Maintain established intake, editorial calendar, portfolio tracking, template, and approval workflows
- Document process steps, dependencies, controls, exceptions, and opportunities for simplification
- Support testing and documentation of approved AI-enabled productivity, automation, and workflow improvements
Skills:
Preferred qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in internal communications, employee communications, communications operations, digital workplace, change communications, or related work
- Strong writing, editing, content development, project coordination, organization, and documentation skills
- Experience supporting SharePoint or other intranet platforms, digital communications channels, content governance, or content lifecycle activities
- Experience coordinating communications deliverables across multiple stakeholders, deadlines, reviews, and approvals
- Comfort working with communications metrics, recurring reports, data quality checks, and reporting documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools; familiarity with Copilot, Power Automate, or other AI-enabled productivity tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently within established priorities and standards and escalate strategic, sensitive, or ambiguous decisions appropriately
- Experience with communications measurement, Excel, Power BI, dashboards, data visualization, or comparable reporting tools is preferred
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, English, Digital Media, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
