ESRI Web Developer

• The ESRI Web Developer will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining web applications using ESRIs ArcGIS platform.
• This role involves working with various web technologies to create interactive and userfriendly GIS applications

Key Responsibilities

• Web Application Development Design develop and maintain web applications using ESRIs ArcGIS API for JavaScript and other web technologies.
• User Interface Design Create intuitive and responsive user interfaces that enhance user experience.
• Integration Integrate GIS data and services into web applications ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
• Collaboration Work closely with GIS analysts developers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Testing and Debugging Perform thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure high quality and performance.
• Documentation Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for web applications including design specifications user guides and technical manuals.

Qualifications

• Education Bachelors degree in computer science IT GIS or a related field.
• Experience 9 - 14 years of experience in web development with a focus on ESRI ArcGIS.
• Technical Skills Proficiency in JavaScript HTML CSS and ESRIs ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
• Experience with frontend frameworks eg React Typescript Angular Vue.
• Certifications Relevant certifications such as ESRI Technical Certification are preferred.
• Soft Skills Strong analytical and problemsolving skills excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with developing and deploying web applications in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of spatial data management and GIS concepts.

Skills

• Mandatory Skills : ESRI Desktop, ESRI Web.
• Good to Have Skills : ArcGIS Enterprise, Geospatial Backend Development, Geospatial Frontend Development.
