Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Consultant specializing in client M3 implementations to support a customer with their finance transformation and ERP implementation initiatives.
• The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of hands-on experience in M3 Finance implementations, with strong expertise in core finance functionalities, financial processes, and localization requirements.
• The consultant will work closely with the customer’s finance team to understand business requirements, provide functional guidance, support implementation activities, and ensure the solution aligns with U.S. financial and tax regulations.
• This is a part-time consulting engagement requiring approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support client M3 Finance implementation activities, ensuring alignment with business requirements and project objectives.
• Provide functional expertise across core M3 Finance modules and financial processes.
• Work closely with customer stakeholders, particularly finance and accounting teams, to understand business needs and translate them into effective M3 solutions.
• Support finance configuration, implementation, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Provide guidance on financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Financial Reporting.
• Support U.S. finance localization requirements, ensuring alignment with applicable U.S. tax rules, regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Identify gaps between standard M3 functionality and customer-specific finance requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and other functional consultants to ensure successful implementation.
• Support functional issue resolution, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and functional guidance to customer teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in client M3 Finance implementations.
• Strong functional expertise in core client M3 Finance modules and processes.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering or supporting end-to-end M3 Finance implementations.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and ERP finance operations.
• Experience supporting finance localization requirements, particularly for the U.S. market.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax rules, regulations, and statutory financial requirements.
• Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into practical M3 functional solutions.
• Experience working directly with customer stakeholders and leading functional discussions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.

Location & Travel Requirements:

• Preferred Location: Seattle, Washington, or surrounding areas.
• Candidates based in Western Canada will also be considered, provided they have strong knowledge of U.S. tax rules and regulations.
• Time Zone: Must be aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST) working hours.
• Travel: Travel to the customer location will be required approximately once per month on average.
• Candidates must be comfortable with periodic business travel.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• The ideal candidate is a seasoned client M3 Finance consultant with extensive implementation experience and the ability to operate as a functional subject matter expert.
• They should be comfortable engaging directly with customer finance stakeholders, addressing complex finance and localization requirements, and providing hands-on implementation support.
• Candidates with a combination of deep M3 Finance expertise, practical U.S. finance and tax knowledge, and strong customer-facing consulting experience will be highly preferred.
