Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Theodore, AL
Duration: Full Time

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be:

• Provide daily direction to the supervisor team and work together to remove obstacles creating production delays.
• Partner with other departments and shifts to coordinate raw materials, parts, assemblies completed units, etc.
• Work with engineering teams on critical component reliability and related product specifications to achieve strategic goals.
• Work closely with the production scheduler to reduce production delays.
• Promote a safe work environment and champion safety practices and behaviors.
• Partner with human resources to determine appropriate staffing levels, address performance issues, onboarding of new employees, etc.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and processes on the production floor.

Your Education Should Be:

• High school diploma or GED.  
• Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require:

• This position will require the ability to move around the production floor and investigate issues with the production equipment.
• Lift up to 15 pounds
• Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and other related tasks in an office setting.

Your Professional Experience Should Be:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a medium volume manufacturing environment, ETO a plus.
• Must have previous supervisory experience.
• Lean Six Sigma, is highly desirable.
• Proven results improving manufacturing performance.
• Proven experience training others in manufacturing concepts and activities.
