Title: Production Support Analyst (Windows, Linux and Scripting)
Location: New Castle, DE
Duration: 12 Months 
Worksite: Delaware - Hybrid with onsite Requirement 

 
Note:
In office 3 days a week which might change to 5 days.
This shift will be NAM hours coverage.
Time:  11:30 AM – 8:30 PM EST
Shift days:
Option 1: Tuesday – Saturday
Option 2: Sunday – Thursday
Manager notes from Supplier Call:

  • Need a candidate who has experience working on both Windows & Linux Servers
  • Prod Support (up to 50 different apps on Linux or Wintel)
  • Someone who has worked in an operation support sort of role would be ideal
  • Needs experience with Monitoring tools like Tivoli, Autosys, etc
  • Need experience in Scripting, having Shell/PowerShell Scripting experience is ideal
  • PKI certificates are also preferred for this role
  • We are an L2 24x7 global team and have 3 shifts but mostly here will be 1130am EST to 8:30 pm - support either 1 sat or sun shift per occasionally. 
  • The level expected: browse through servers and run commands (Linux /wintel servers)
  • Someone Application Production Support on Windows & Linux Servers can be considered. 
  • Heavy monitoring, log-in checks for certain errors, interaction with DB SA's to help resolve and at times interact with clients. (not dealing with vendor or product infra security).
  • Will learn new processes and apps.
  • Someone who can run commands, log into systems
  • This job requires someone who has done monitoring in the past
  • They use the ServiceNow Ticketing system to resolve the issues, someone who is good at resolving issues would be ideal
  • Interacting with different teams as it is a Global Team, operating from Singapore, APAC, and NAM
  • Will be involved in Client interaction
  • Fast Moving Requirement
  • Interview Process:
  • 2 Rounds - 30 Minutes each
  • Experience: 2-3+ Years

High-level Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Operations support or System Administration.
  • Hands-on experience with either Windows or Linux servers.
  • Experience with Shell/PowerShell scripting, SQL, or any other equivalent will be a plus.
  • Experience in Monitoring or Automation Tools will be a plus: Tivoli, Sensu, Autosys, ServiceNow, and AppDynamics.
  • Knowledge of TLS certificates and PKI Technology will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of Webservices, Webservers, Application servers, and  Network Protocols would be a good addition.
