Title: HR Data Analyst 
Location: St. Louis - HQ, MO
Duration: 12 months

Description:

  • Our People Analytics Team in Human Resources strives to create value for the organization by providing actionable insights using data.
  • Our team is passionate about providing data-driven answers to strategic people-oriented business questions.
  • We are also enthusiastic about using this data to improve the experience of Client employees.
  • We are seeking a People Analytics Specialist, whose primary role will be to support our personalized employee experience initiative and our employee listening strategy.
  • These initiatives are already underway and additional support is needed to improve upon existing processes and amplify its effectiveness and reach.

Responsibilities:

  • Content code qualitative data to identify patterns, themes, and key insights.
  • Maintain and update data sources to ensure the accuracy and integrity of information used in various Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Identify and match employees to different opportunities and experiences by searching through data provided about employee values and interests.
  • Provide support to users of our employee experience tool by offering guidance on usage, conducting training sessions, and conducting routine check-ins.
  • Generate creative ideas for personalized experiences
  • Communicate high-level insights, best practices, success stories, and relevant information to associates through various communication channels, such as email, intranet sites, and newsletters to inspire and engage employees.
  • Explore new approaches, tools, or methodologies to improve work processes and outcomes.
  • Provide additional support as needed in other areas related to analyzing and visualizing data, and prioritizing end-user experience.
  • Someone with a passion for employee experience, strong attention to detail, creativity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will thrive in this role.
  • Apart from employee experience initiatives, this position can expect to be involved in other projects on our team as needed, including data visualization, dashboard designing and
  • enhancement, etc.

Education and Technical Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Business, Statistics, Economics or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in leveraging data to create actionable business and HR insights
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, plus Forms)
  • Basic understanding of survey creation principles (Likert scales, double-barreled items, leading questions. etc.)
  • Ability to communicate and build partnerships with other HR groups
  • Proficient with manipulating data in Microsoft Excel (especially VLookup and Pivot Tables)
  • Proficient with using PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or currently enrolled in a graduate program in Industrial Organizational Psychology or related field
  • Experience with Qualtrics Survey Platform
  • 1-2 years creating tools and using Microsoft Power Platform
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python
  • Presentation and facilitation skills
  • Design thinking skills
  • Generative AI Prompting (e.g., Chat GPT)
