On-Site role

Job Description:

• The Lab Technician will manage shelf-life stability studies for liquid products, maintain analytical instruments and storage chambers for shelf-life testing, conduct analytical tests and report results, maintain good records of all laboratory work, and maintain a safe and clean laboratory work environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Arrange and conduct product evaluations: Maintain stability testing process, keep storage inventory, conduct and document physical analyses, schedule and conduct technical tasting sessions
• Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments used for shelf-life testing
• Train others on the use and cleaning of analytical instruments, good laboratory practices, taste panels and storage studies
• Analyze development samples; set up analytical and microbiological requests for outside analysis
• Continuously keep product development lab clean and in good order
• Maintain oversight of Accelerator Laboratory space
• Maintain Excel / Word data entry of quality records including physical and sensory analyses
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications (Minimum Education, Experience, and Knowledge)

• High School diploma; science coursework a plus
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Fluent in English
• Organized
• Independent, self-starter
• Good interpersonal skills
• Collaborative service orientation
• Ability to work with a diverse team
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Aptitude for analytical testing
